- In charge of eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process
- Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and Business Processes
- Identify and drive Yokoten Best practices-based Kaizen projects in accordance with timelines
- Conduct Industrial Engineering Lean and Six Sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean culture throughout the organization by guiding and facilitating Continuous Improvement Lean Deployment
- Design and optimize production systems by developing capacity models, conducting time and work studies, and identifying bottlenecks that limit throughput
- Analyze process flow and data to balance lines, improve labor and equipment utilization, reduce cycle time, and support data‑driven decisions for ramp-ups and layout changes
- Perform assessment of Continuous Improvement Maturity Tracker (CIMT) Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps
- Agile participation in the selection and executions of Lean and Six Sigma projects
- Transformation (Continuous workshop in 90 days). Facilitate Continuous Improvement Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops, and small group activities
- Comprehend and use Center point portal as depository to enable data research and cost saving effectiveness
- Achieve Industrial, Lean and Six Sigma training & Certification in order to become Subject Matter Expert in the organization
- Demonstrates Green Certification of at least one discipline (Lean, Six Sigma or Industrial Engineering)

The company is also partnering with AMD to manufacture the AMD Instinct platform in Texas, aligning with domestic production trends. Flex breaks ground on €90 million facility in Hungary. Flex has laid the foundation stone for a new warehouse in zalaegerszeg, Hungary, marking a further milestone in its EUR 90 million investment project in the country. The development includes both a manufacturing plant and a warehouse, and will focus on the production of components for electric and hybrid vehicles. The project is expected to create around 210 new jobs, including approximately 20 positions in research and development. Read on for more details on five such expansions and acquisitions made by industrial and manufacturing companies. Partnership: HP and Volkmann announced March 3 that the companies would collaborate on a contained metal powder handling solution for metal jet printers. Under the terms of the deal, HP's Metal Jet S100 3D printers will be compatible with specially-designed proprietary Volkmann contained metal powder management systems. In a statement, Alexandre Tartas, a global head of sales at HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions, said the containment solution would improve device efficiency and safety. Expansion: Nasoya announced March 11 it would spend $55 million to expand an existing tofu manufacturing plant in Ayer, Massachusetts. The expansion will add 65,000 square feet of new space and increasing the plant workforce by 20%, for a total size of 200,000 square feet and daily capacity of 400,000 pounds of tofu. The company says that, after the expansion, the tofu factory will be the largest in the world. Partnership: Flex announced March 2 it would expand its manufacturing collaboration with AMD to produce the semiconductor manufacturer's AMD Instinct graphics processing unit platform, which are experiencing a surge in demand alongside the use of GPUs in data centers for AI services. According to a release from Flex, the contract manufacturer has already started manufacturing the AMD Instinct in its Austin, Texas headquarters with plans to increase production. Expansion: Yazoo Mills announced March 12 that it had finished construction of its third paper tubes and cores factory in Hanover, Pennsylvania. According to a company statement, the $14 million plant construction included relocating eight winding lines and 14 recutting machines to the new site. The plant is Yazoo Mills' third manufacturing location.
