Requirements
  • Advanced-level experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing technical functions is required.

  • Employees who drive company vehicles must have a California Class C driver's license and be insurable through Jackson Rancheria's agent.

  • The role requires understanding advanced principles of Freon, refrigeration, and heating concepts.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines.
  • Perform skilled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Complete routine work independently, including electrical repairs, plumbing fixture replacements, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning service, and basic diagnostics.
  • Assist with system installations, remodels, and upgrades.
  • Inspect equipment and systems periodically to observe operating condition and determine the need for repair and adjustment.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance in accordance with established schedules.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, parts usage, and system performance.
  • Provide support and informal guidance to MEP Technician I staff.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety and regulatory standards.
  • Install, troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment.
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical systems and controls up to 480 volts alternating current, including motors, controls, magnetic starters, variable frequency drives, transformers, relays, circuit breakers, and direct digital control components.
  • Open valves on compressors, pumps, and condensers to prepare systems for operation, and start equipment and auxiliary machinery.
  • Observe temperature, pressure, and ampere readings for systems and equipment, and adjust or override controls to achieve specified operation.
  • Measure brine density and add calcium chloride to lower the temperature to the specified degree.
  • Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures for heating, water, and drainage systems.
  • Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drainage systems.
  • Study building plans and blueprints to determine required work aids and installation sequence.
  • Inspect structures to identify obstructions and prevent weakening caused by pipe installation.
  • Locate and mark pipe and pipe-connection positions and passage holes in walls and floors.
  • Repack pumps and compressors, clean condensers, and replace worn or defective parts.
  • Adjust controls to isolate and clear broken lines for repair or shut down equipment.
  • Maintain, adjust, and make minor repairs to elevator systems.
