Requirements
  • One year of merchandising experience.
  • The ability to lift and carry heavy boxes weighing up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Leader by executing merchandising and seasonal décor to create a beautiful environment that achieves store goals.
  • Provide exceptional guest service through relationship building and maintaining an inspirational, well-maintained environment.
  • Lead all visual aspects of the store, including product merchandising and window designs.
  • Foster a guest-focused team environment and anticipate guest needs.
  • Role-model company service standards and provide timely feedback to associates.
  • Reward and recognize performance, hold associates accountable for financial results and performance standards, and manage conflict.
  • Coach associates using company processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Empower associates in decision-making and develop them through talent matching, delegation, and performance challenges.
  • Recommend hiring, promotions, and terminations based on team-member performance.
  • React to product and presentation needs based on business requirements.
  • Maintain seasonal window décor weekly and conduct weekly mannequin updates.
  • Plan and delegate workflow and execute task directives within designated time frames.
  • Use company reporting tools to assess store business, identify merchandising opportunities, and track and analyze business results.
  • Teach product flow, merchandising, and product knowledge standards to the team.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention practices and report potential incidents to protect company assets.
  • Communicate with the executive team and Store Leader or District Leader.
  • Coach the team on business-related visual presentation to achieve department sales goals.
  • Lead the guest experience through merchandising, seasonal décor, and in-store marketing.
  • Lead a creative community to drive sales through an inspirational store environment.
  • Interpret Home Office visual communication in partnership with the Store Leader and District Leader.
  • Partner with the Store Leader to oversee floor sets, window sets, fixture placement, and the overall visual environment.
  • Maintain awareness of brand aesthetic and relevance to the store environment and communicate with the team.
  • Manage placement of new product and communicate product-performance observations to the Store Leader.
