Crete PA partners with the non-attest arms of US accounting firms to help them grow while keeping the local firm’s brand, leadership, and culture. It provides centralized back-office support—such as talent acquisition, human resources, finance, legal and compliance, technology, and business development—through subsidiary entities that handle tax and advisory services, while partner CPA firms perform audits. The network comprises more than 20 partner firms with over $300 million in combined annual revenue, and Crete PA takes majority stakes with original owners retaining minority equity. The company plans to expand through acquisitions and by using AI tools, backed by Thrive Capital and Bessemer Venture Partners, with the goal of building a nationwide accounting platform that offers capital and shared resources instead of selling or staying under-resourced.
