What believers are saying

  • 2026 deals included CesiumAstro's $470 million funding and Skyryse's $300 million round.
  • April 2026 Ametek and Alereon assignments show activity across buy-side and sell-side mandates.
  • LinkedIn listed 115 employees in February 2026, signaling a meaningful platform without bureaucracy.

What critics are saying

  • Defense deal flow depends on Pentagon budgets; a 2027 slowdown cuts advisory volume quickly.
  • Booz Allen, Ametek, and Advent all compete for the same mandates, squeezing fees.
  • One failed reputation event in defense diligence would destroy trust with prime contractors.

What makes Renaissance Strategic Advisors unique

  • Renaissance advises only aerospace, defense, and government clients, concentrating expertise competitors dilute.
  • June 2026 Booz Allen's Ultra Intelligence acquisition validates its buy-side diligence credibility.
  • The firm keeps hiring across London, Arlington, and Paris, showing global sector depth.
