Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a studio manager role or equivalent leadership experience is required.
  • Facilitation and training experience is required.
  • A 200-hour yoga certification is preferred.
  • Candidates must be able to work 40 or more hours per week, including at least one weekend day, with morning, evening, weekend, and some holiday availability.

  • Candidates should be able to manage multiple deadlines with a solutions-oriented approach as construction timelines shift for new studios.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a brand ambassador and business driver for CorePower Yoga in the studio and market.
  • Own the day-to-day operations of the studio, including leading the teaching team and Studio Coordinators.
  • Partner with the local sales team to generate membership leads and achieve studio membership or founding membership goals.
  • Recruit, train, and onboard teachers and staff according to class count goals.
  • Meet and exceed performance targets related to membership, teacher training revenue, class count and attendance, client retention, and net promoter score.
  • Lead and recruit for Teacher Training programs, including 200-hour, 50-hour, and intensive programs, to support teacher recruitment and revenue.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business priorities.
  • Foster a community of teachers and Studio Experience Team members to consistently deliver an excellent studio and class experience.
  • Stabilize and grow the studio, including revenue, profitability, and cultural growth, particularly during the post-opening period for new studios.
  • Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, primarily in-studio, act as the on-call manager as needed, and work at least one weekend day per week.
  • Teach a minimum of four classes per week in multiple formats.
  • Ensure consistent communication and enforcement of CorePower Yoga policies, initiatives, and protocols for staff members.
  • Partner with the analytics team to design the best schedule for the community using student attendance and schedule preferences.

The new CorePower Yoga studio is located in a 2,661-square-foot space on the ground floor of the Bryant Plaza mixed-use building at 333 Warner Ave. in Roslyn. The Roslyn studio is the first of three Long Island locations that CorePower plans to open. The chain plans to open a 2,649-square-foot studio in the Huntington Shopping Center at 350 Walt Whitman Road in Huntington Station later this year and another 3,407-square-foot studio in the Gallery at Westbury Plaza at 900 Old Country Road in Garden City early next year. The CorePower Yoga studio in Roslyn will feature two practice rooms accommodating up to 67 mats, a lobby with communal eating space, "curated retail," two showers and restrooms, a standalone shower, dry bar and shared lockers, according to the company.
