Requirements
  • A minimum of one year of manufacturing experience, preferably in a packaging operation, or a two- or four-year degree, or manufacturing certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education is preferred.
  • Strong reading and math comprehension are required.
  • The role requires written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision, prioritize work, and make informed decisions.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and web-based applications, are required.
  • PLC machine or equipment experience is preferred.
  • The employee must successfully cross-train as a Package Assembler.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Responsibilities
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and operate packaging lines and equipment according to Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Manually load components into unit cartons, pouches, shippers, and other packaging on an assembly line.
  • Stage components and load hoppers on the assembly line.
  • Perform and document quality inspections, in-process cosmetic inspections, and batch-record information, including component and critical-copy verification.
  • Perform line clearances and lot changes.
  • Maintain housekeeping.
  • Observe, operate, and troubleshoot accessory equipment to manufacture quality products meeting standard production quantities or better.
  • Cross-train in other departments to increase workforce flexibility and address operational and business demands.

  • Previous manufacturing experience in a packaging operation.
  • PLC machine or equipment experience.
