Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a small team of physicists working on quantum computing system integration
  • Collaborate with other subsystem leads across the organization in the requirements definition, testing, and integration of critical subsystems of trapped-ion quantum computers
  • Manage the team of physicists that takes assembled hardware from the initial stages of ion trapping to coherent gate operations to a full performance characterization
  • Continually drive process and subsystem improvements with the goal of improving performance of trapped-ion quantum computing systems
