  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, law, human rights, international relations, sustainability, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in building and leading global Human Rights and Responsible Sourcing Programs in multi-national companies
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage employees at all levels of the organization
  • Travel: 25%, could grow over time
Responsibilities
  • Create and enforce policies that ensure ethical sourcing and respect for human rights throughout the supply chain
  • Develop long-term strategies for human rights and responsible sourcing that align with the company's values and goals
  • Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws, regulations, and standards related to human rights and responsible sourcing. Identify and mitigate risks associated with these areas
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, NGOs, industry groups, and government bodies, to promote responsible sourcing and human rights
  • Build and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure they understand and adhere to the company's standards for human rights and responsible sourcing
  • Oversee audits and assessments of suppliers to ensure compliance with human rights and responsible sourcing policies
  • Develop and manage reporting mechanisms to track progress and report on human rights and responsible sourcing initiatives. Communicate findings to senior management and other stakeholders
  • Lead the response to any reported violations of human rights or responsible sourcing policies, ensuring thorough investigations and appropriate corrective actions
  • Advocate for improved industry standards and practices related to human rights and responsible sourcing
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and innovations in responsible sourcing and human rights, and integrate these into the organization's practices
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility, to ensure a cohesive approach to human rights and responsible sourcing

  • Master’s degree
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Certificates in corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability
