  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering or other relevant field and 12+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of prior relevant experience; 4 additional years of related experience will be acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
  • An active SECRET clearance is required for this role, along with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • At minimum must fulfill IAT Level II requirement, with ability to meet IAT Level III requirement within 6 months of hire.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience with both Windows and Linux based systems.
  • Experience operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches.
  • Experience designing, architecting routed and switched networks.
  • Experience with the DoD environment.
  • Familiarity of NIST-800 Risk Management Framework.
  • Familiarity with the implementation of cloud services such as SaaS and IaaS along with SLAs.
Responsibilities
  • Design and development of network architectures supporting important captures and proposals as well as providing SME support to the execution of existing programs within the Airborne Mission Operations division.
  • Reporting to the Chief Engineer of Aviation Programs, you will solution networks based on technical, budgetary, and schedule requirements and advise the applicability of emerging technologies on existing or proposed solutions.
  • Define project scope, plans, and deliverables including cost projections and proposed implementation dates.
  • Control project requirements, scope, and change management issues.
  • Ensure baseline configuration of all network assets is documented and configured according to DoD engineering standards.
  • Maintain 50+ networked computers to include license management and vulnerability management & mitigation.
  • Develop System Operating Procedures (SOPs), troubleshooting guides.
  • Research, evaluate, and stay current on emerging tools, techniques, and technologies including cloud services.
