Responsibilities
  • Generate new business equipment sales and profits in the assigned territory.
  • Commit to an annual sales budget, develop an annual business plan, and forecast the monthly equipment pipeline.
  • Work effectively within the territory to grow the surgical equipment portfolio and optimize customer workflow experience.
  • Report weekly activities and communicate ideas, market trends, and competitive activities to management.
  • Maintain currency of and adhere to applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and ISO 9001 processes and procedures.
  • Attain or exceed yearly revenue and profit quotas while managing the assigned expense budget.
  • Conduct scheduled personalized sales demonstrations for surgeons, operating room staff, and facility administration.
  • Work in a team environment to support lead sharing, account management, and account development.
  • Maintain, analyze, and use territory records and other information to organize, plan, execute, and measure results.
  • Educate and follow up with surgeons, operating room staff, and administration on product operation, utilization, and application.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and constructive written and oral communications to management regarding planned monthly sales activity.
  • Operate a specific cost center to control sales, expenses, inventory, and accounts receivable.
  • Maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, and updates for opportunities, leads, and the sales funnel.
  • Develop and implement synergy opportunities among ZEISS companies, Carl Zeiss Meditec field service, and other corporate partners when such programs arise.
  • Develop and implement creative and profitable marketing approaches for the demands of the assigned region.
  • Furnish all paperwork and requested information completely and promptly.
  • Maintain Salesforce updates and use Concur, Fleet, and CurioZ systems.
