- Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial insurance, with at least 10 years of experience leading a team.

- Experience within a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), Temporary Staffing, or other similar industry, a plus.
- Professional certifications/designations such as Associate in Risk Management (ARM), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) are a plus.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business objectives, including revenue targets, market expansion, and product enhancements.
- Lead the development, pricing, and management of commercial business insurance products, specifically workers compensation and employers practices liability (EPLI).
- Provide guidance and support to underwriting teams, ensuring consistent underwriting practices, adherence to risk management guidelines, and profitability of underwritten business.
- Implementing effective loss prevention strategies, conducting risk assessments, and managing claims efficiently to mitigate financial loss and ensure prompt and accurate payment to policyholders.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the performance of commercial business insurance products and make data-driven decisions to optimize results.
- Deliver commercial insurance solutions to customers with an initial focus on workers compensation and employers liability (EPL).
- Oversee the underwriting/pricing, claims payment, and loss control strategies across Justworks suite of products.
- Design comprehensive corporate insurance programs, negotiate complex insurance contracts, and provide strategic risk management advice to mitigate potential liabilities and safeguard corporate assets.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant laws and standards. Develop and maintain policies and procedures that align with regulatory requirements. Serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory matters related to PEO operations.
- Utilize data analytics to identify trends and potential areas of risk exposure. Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on the status of risk management initiatives.
- Participate in a firm-wide enterprise risk management committee, including regular risk assessments and scenario planning.
