Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • An ambitious, bright, and intellectually curious nature. You love teaching yourself new things, and you're naturally driven to be the best at what you do
  • Friendly, positive and professional demeanor. You take pride in cultivating a fun and inviting office atmosphere and your willingness to engage with guests to make them feel welcome
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented skillset. For you, an unfiltered inbox is a nightmare
  • Experience with Google Workspace and have a familiarity or willingness to learn other project management systems
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a particular emphasis on brevity and clarity (and when the moment calls for it, finding that perfect gif)
  • Someone who has a “no task too big or too small mindset”
  • Someone with an interest in hospitality, HR, communications and/or customer service
Responsibilities
  • Run the front desk & guest operations. Greet guests, clients, and interviewees to make them feel at home
  • Ensure cleanliness and professionalism of reception and lobby area, and continually look for ways to improve our front-of-house procedures
  • Serve as a point of contact for visiting remote employees and event guests
  • Receive and notify employees of incoming mail and packages, and assist with outgoing shipments
  • Support internal team meetings with catering orders and room setups
  • Order weekly groceries, fruit, and vegetables to keep our kitchen stocked
  • Support for NYC events including planning, set-up, break-down and space turnaround
  • Support for virtual programs that require weekly maintenance (i.e. anniversaries)
  • Support and coverage for international office & event requests to minimize wait times
  • Handle ad-hoc projects and responsibilities as needed
  • The salary range for this role is $45,000-$60,000. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location
