Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, frequency plots, multimeters, and testing/probing processes
  • Ability to follow directions, identify deviations/abnormalities, use common investigative techniques to find the root cause, and have strong communication skills
  • Familiarity with CAD (solid works preferred), Matlab, common hardware tools, and systems integration/communication
  • Understanding of common optical, electrical, and mechanical concepts such as refraction, power density, circuits, fluid flow, static and dynamic forces, and stress and strain
  • Strong computer basics skills, understanding of networks, common computer troubleshooting, demonstrate ability to learn unique controller interfaces
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Responsibilities
  • Test Execution: Conduct functional and performance tests on 3D printing equipment to validate its reliability and functionality
  • Test Plan Development: Collaborate with senior engineers to create comprehensive test plans, including test cases, test scripts, and test procedures
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze test data, identify trends and anomalies, and report findings to the engineering team
  • Issue Identification and Troubleshooting: Assist in identifying and diagnosing issues, defects, or malfunctions during testing, and work collaboratively to find solutions
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test results, procedures, and equipment configurations for future reference
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure the 3D printers meet industry standards and specifications, making recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineers, production teams, and quality control, to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution
