Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years’ experience in enterprise-level Air Force and/or Department of Defense Real Estate.
  • Experience working on real estate transactions, including Enhanced Use Leases (EUL) and Strategic Real Estate Opportunities (SREO) for the Department of the Air Force and/or the Department of Defense.
  • Ability to provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders by participating in meetings/forums and coordinating, consolidating, developing, and delivering/presenting associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after-action reports, minutes).
  • Capacity to monitor, analyze, assess, and reconcile as needed RP transactions providing results to SAF/IEI and stakeholders, formulating processes, procedure and reporting methods improvements and gaining approval for change management implementation.
  • Experience necessary to support oversight of all real-estate transactions to include but not limited to assessing compliance with delegated authorities, review, and implementation of corrective actions for recommendations stemming from audits, ensure timely renewal of leases, development of proposed policies to enhance and streamline leasing processes.
  • Ability to provide oversight support of enhance use leasing activities within the DAF, to include capturing best practice and opportunities by other Military Departments. Provide support for development of enterprise opportunities to include concept development and implementation.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between SAF/IEI and AFCEC/CI for all real estate and real property matters.
  • Advise SAF/IEI on all matters pertaining to DAF Real Estate and Real Property (RP).
  • Read, coordinate, consolidate, develop, and maintain real estate management and development governance and programmatic documents (e.g., DAFIs, policies), action plan recommendations, task and inquiry responses, and issue resolution action plans under SAF/IEI program management oversight and authorities.
  • Provide detailed updates to leadership and stakeholders; participate in meetings/forums and coordinate, consolidate, develop, and deliver/present associated meeting materials (e.g., slides, after-action reports, minutes).
  • Monitor, analyze, assess, and reconcile RP transactions, providing results to SAF/IEI and stakeholders; formulate processes, procedure, and reporting methods improvements, and gain approval for change management implementation.
  • Provide guidance, reporting, and senior leader status updates on the completion of Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) Corrective Action Plans (CAPs), particularly pertaining to real property financial accounting.
  • Support oversight of all real estate transactions, including assessing compliance with delegated authorities, reviewing and implementing corrective actions for audit recommendations, ensuring timely lease renewals, and developing proposed policies to enhance and streamline leasing processes.
  • Provide oversight support for enhanced use leasing activities within the DAF, including capturing best practices and opportunities from other Military Departments. Provide support for the development of enterprise opportunities, including concept development and implementation.
  • Support the execution of real estate transactions, including Enhanced Use Leases (EUL) and Strategic Real Estate Opportunities (SREO).
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working in SAF/IEI and/or AFCEC/CI on matters related to real property and real estate transactions.
  • Experience as an action officer at the MAJCOM or HAF level creating and processing work through Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS-2).
