Job Summary:
Reporting to the Head(s) of Alternative Investments Distribution, this role is pivotal in representing Raymond James' Alternative Investments platform to financial advisors and clients within a designated region. The consultant will drive the adoption of Alternative Investments products through a combination of research, education, and a consultative approach. This involves providing high-touch support to both potential users and seasoned adopters, ensuring they are well-informed about the Alternative Investments platform's strategy, approach, and suite of solutions. The role requires active management of the region using CRM tools to identify growth opportunities and address gaps. The consultant will conduct regular meetings with financial advisors to enhance their understanding of Alternative Investments opportunities and support available. Additionally, the role includes supporting broader departmental objectives through phone support, in-person meetings, creation of educational materials, and participation in conferences. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert, capable of creating awareness and driving sales while maintaining the firm's conservative approach.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert for Alternative Investments products and strategies.
Educate advisors and clients on Alternative Investments benefits and risks.
Manage regional coverage for product launches and distribution.
Meet objectives by visiting and contacting financial advisors.
Prepare and deliver presentations.
Provide proactive and reactive support through various channels.
Collaborate with Alternative Investments product development, research, and operations.
Represent Alternative Investments platform at conferences and client visits.
Contribute to department initiatives.
Organize and execute objectives with minimal oversight.

Educational/Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance, or related discipline.
Minimum of ten years' experience in financial services.
Series 7, 63, 66 licenses required.
Preferred: CAIA, CFP, CFA, or MBA.
Working Conditions:
Normal business hours; additional hours may be required.
Travel required: 50-75%.
