  • A strong bias for experimentation and iteration, including quickly testing content, incorporating voice-of-customer input, and continuously improving.
  • Ability to curate, adapt, and efficiently integrate off-the-shelf learning rather than creating everything from scratch.
  • Fluency with modern learning delivery approaches and tools, including blended learning, cohorts, leader toolkits, micro-learning, virtual and in-person facilitation guidance, and artificial intelligence.
  • Ability to build and manage an internal and external expertise network of subject-matter experts, facilitators, vendors, and content providers, and to apply benchmarks and leading practices appropriately.
  • Ability to partner across a decentralized, multi-operating-company model while balancing local context with shared content, consistency, and reuse.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks and the ability to design change capability content that integrates with FBS and the operating cadence.
  • A learning-technology orientation, including the ability to shape content strategy that fits learning management system capabilities and supports simple access, search, and reuse.
Responsibilities

  • Define reusable curriculum cores and the last-mile customization needed for local relevance and adoption.
  • Design and develop practical curricula and content that operating companies can deploy with minimal friction in the flow of work.
  • Establish and maintain shared learning content covering priority capabilities such as GEM leadership capabilities, FBS Fundamentals, people leadership, change management, onboarding, and other roadmap-defined capabilities.
  • Build content with a reuse-first approach by starting with off-the-shelf learning and adding Fortive or operating-company examples when they improve usefulness, uptake, and outcomes.
  • Support delivery of Fortive-wide learning moments and curricula, including ECO, GMDP, FBSLO, ALE, and FLS.
  • Own the design and development of change management curriculum and capability-building content with the FBS Office for localized delivery through Talent Enablement Partners.
  • Pilot content with one or more operating companies, measure usefulness and adoption, iterate quickly, and scale effective approaches.
  • Run voice-of-customer loops with Talent Enablement Partners, learners, and operating-company human resources and people leaders to improve content clarity, usability, and real-world application.
  • Define lightweight effectiveness measures such as participation, completion, on-the-job use, leader feedback, and business-aligned outcomes, and use results to refine the roadmap.
  • Maintain a leading-practice library across operating companies covering effective assets, approaches, and facilitators.
  • Facilitate benchmarking across operating companies and external sources to keep content current, practical, and effective.
  • Build and manage an internal and external expertise pool of subject-matter experts, facilitators, vendors, platforms, and content sources.
  • Research and select best-fit expertise, platforms, and content options as needs evolve.
  • Incorporate stakeholder input while maintaining quality and ensuring content is easy for operating companies to reuse and deploy.

Fortive launches no-code calibration platform as software revenue hits 50%

Fortive subsidiary Fluke has launched CalStudio Conduit, a no-code workflow and integration platform for calibration laboratories. The tool automates lab workflows and connects existing systems without custom coding, targeting improved data handling across equipment, software, and quality systems. The launch supports Fortive's strategy to increase its software and services mix, which now represents 50% of recurring revenues. The US-based machinery company, with a market capitalisation of approximately $17.8 billion, has reported double-digit annual recurring revenue growth at key brands including Fluke. CalStudio Conduit aims to provide Fortive with deeper system integrations in tightly regulated calibration labs, where processes are sticky and switching costs are high. The platform positions Fortive against competitors such as Keysight Technologies and Tektronix in the test and measurement market.
