Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience end-to-end processing medium to large size company payroll
  • Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements in relation to taxation, superannuation/pension and other statutory obligations
  • Experience with large ERP system, preferably Workday, SAP and ADP Dayforce/ Workday a plus
  • Ability to multi-task with attention to details and minimal supervision
  • Deep expertise in payroll legislation and security regulations in APAC
  • Proven track record in managing regulatory compliance, handling authority audits, and resolving payroll-related compliance issues

Responsibilities
  • Process Fortnightly payroll for AU employees, including salary adjustments, benefits, and related deductions
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll updates (new hires, terminations, pay rate changes)
  • Review and interpret garnishment notices, calculate deduction amounts, and prepare remittance checks along with necessary documentation
  • Single Touch Payroll reporting and lodgment in AU payroll
  • Manage employee’s payroll queries to provide effective resolution on timely manner
  • Support Payroll internal and external audits to provide respective documentation as required
  • Assisting in the month-end closing process, including journal entry preparation and account reconciliations
  • Superannuation and Payroll Tax submission on timely manner
  • Lead year-end reconciliation, reporting, and audit processes
  • Monitor changes in payroll legislation and update processes and documentation accordingly
  • Review all reconciliation process and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
  • Develop payroll and compliance audit for monthly, quarterly and annual audit process
