  • MS or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Optics, or related fields with five years of work experience.
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision and achieve results in a timely manner.
  • Proven track record of technical issues resolution. Good problem solver who works well as part of a focused team.
  • Experience developing or supporting complex optical-mechanical systems or assemblies.
  • Experience in optoelectronics, sensor technology, microscopy, optics, or systems design/support.
  • Enjoy hand-on laboratory work and proficient in the design/build/automation of an optics or optoelectronics bench.
  • Deep understanding of lithography and semiconductor manufacturing process.
  • Doctorate (Academic) or Master's Level Degree or work experience of 3 years, Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 5 years.
Responsibilities
  • Defining the subsystem requirements and making sure it gets implemented properly.
  • Complete understanding and/or ownership of the top level system specifications, system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware/software integration.
  • Work effectively with team members from crossing all functions, including the suppliers, to implement features that will optimize performance, manufacturability, maintainability, diagnostics, cycle time, COGS, quality and reliability.
  • Accomplish tasks via forthright and consistent communication across multiple groups at KLA and with the suppliers.
