The Strategic Corporate Finance team owns all forecasting for our growing global business and consists of analytical and detail-oriented individuals who enable leadership to make challenging strategic business decisions by providing analysis of business performance and delivering in-depth business forecasting models to support and drive strategic decision making. What You’ll Do:

• Assist in preparing financial analyses to support leadership decision making
• Preparation of management reporting materials, including historicals and forecasts
• Monitor daily and weekly revenue and margin performance; provide insights to Operations, Marketing, Pricing and Finance leadership on a real-time basis
• Ad-hoc analytical requests

What You’ll Need:

• Currently pursuing Bachelors degree
• Available to work July 10th-December 15th  2023
• Able to commit to working 40 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm) 
• Interest in strategy and finance

Teams available for placement include:

The Business Planning team within Strategic Corporate Finance partners closely with brand General Managers and cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Pricing and other business units to deliver a comprehensive understanding of our business drivers and drive the Revenue and Advertising business planning and forecasting process across all brands and geographies. This highly strategic team collaborates with business unit leaders across the company to provide critical financial and strategic insights that directly impact the future direction of Wayfair’s fast-growing business.

The Gross Margin Reporting and Analysis team within Strategic Corporate Finance monitors and analyzes key drivers of gross margin to support financial, pricing, marketing and operational decisions. This requires quantitative business modeling, analysis and performance management. This team is highly cross-functional working with stakeholders across Pricing, Operations, Finance & Accounting and Algorithms to deliver data-driven insights.

Wayfair Co-Op Program Overview

Based in Wayfair’s Boston headquarters, Our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. While the majority of Wayfair co-ops join directly from an academic program, some co-ops join us from varying professional and academic backgrounds seeking a six-month professional experience. In addition to exciting project work, Wayfair co-ops have the opportunity to build their professional networks, take advantage of training offerings, and attend social events throughout the program.

An Important Note about Wayfair’s In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on designated days, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely the other 2 days of the week. We are continuing to monitor the evolving COVID-19 pandemic in partnership with state and local governments.
