Senior Software Engineer – Minitab
📍 Location: State College, PA (hybrid) if living in PA and 50 miles from HQ, will consider remote. Will not consider candidates outside of PA.

Minitab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable software that empowers organizations worldwide. You’ll work on web development frameworks, contribute to AI-driven product features,  provide technical leadership, and drive innovation in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications with a focus on quality and scalability.

• Lead technical discussions, set coding standards, and mentor engineers.

• Build responsive web apps with React, .NET Core, Node.js, Go.

• Integrate AI/ML-powered features into applications, leveraging large language models (LLMs), natural language processing (NLP), or machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with Research and Design to bring AI prototypes into production-grade software.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across systems.

• Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver customer-focused features on time.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.

• Proficiency in JavaScript, Typescript and modern frameworks.

• Experience in building and maintaining server side API's using PHP, Go, .NET Core, Node.js

• Strong skills in software architecture, design patterns, and algorithms.

• Strong experience is web development technologies such as REST API's and frameworks like React.  

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
