Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in supply chain administration, change orders, payment claims, subcontracts administration, commercial reporting, or another relevant role
- Experience with the preparation and administration of KPI schemes, cost value analysis and reporting, risk management and dispute resolution
- Experience in managing and working with multi discipline functions
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of commercial, economic, and business issues relating to the construction, or related industry
- Excellent organizational, and team leader skills including demonstrated leadership of large/diverse teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of construction cost, estimating and cost, price and analysis
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting for project's budget, schedule and cost
- Outstanding communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to ethical business practices
- US or Canadian work permit, depending on location
- Excited to work on a small fast-paced startup team with a drive to succeed and grow with the company
Responsibilities
- Lead project controls, supply chain management and project services
- Report directly to the VP of Engineering, Lithium
- Act as advisor and consultant for commercial practices, procedure and strategy
- Support strategic supplier and contractor relationships
- Work closely with project management to oversee and address project commercial needs
- Actively monitor financial and schedule trends across multiple projects
- Contribute to recruitment and building a high-performing commercial team
Desired Qualifications
- BS/BA in Engineering, business administration, accounting, or similar field minimum; MS/MA is a plus
- South American experience
- Spanish language skills
- Experience in engineering, construction, natural resources projects in either chemicals or mining industries
- Knowledge of Primavera Project Management, P6, preferable not required
