Requirements
  • 4+ years of relevant digital analytics experience
  • Mastery of web analytics tools (Adobe Analytics) including creation of custom reports and segments
  • Ability to communicate data and insights in a comprehensible and understanding way based on targeted audience
  • SQL knowledge a plus
  • Ability to validate analyses, reports, and underlying data, and collaborate with developers to resolve any reporting system data integrity issues
  • Knowledge of digital marketing acquisition, conversion optimization, and customer retention best practices
  • Experience with running and interpreting A/B or multivariate test results; experience with Optimizely a plus
  • Self-starter, responsible, and able to own projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that inspire and build trust resulting in effective working relationships across the company
  • Demonstration of innovation and initiative - always looking at improving our processes while also displaying a willingness to dive into the details and help out wherever necessary

Responsibilities
  • Anticipate relevant insights and analytics needs for the business and leverage data storytelling to best communicate insights and opportunities
  • Be the lead resource for generating ad hoc reports and related insights that enable the ecommerce team to be agile and responsive to new opportunities
  • Dive deep into web analytics to develop insights and recommendations that lead to improved website conversion rates, page speed, time on site, bounce rate, retention, and overall business performance
  • Perform cross-category analytics including digital and offline media, website experience, CRM and product sales data to create a holistic view of both our customers and our business
  • Own forecasting for ecommerce and digital teams
  • Develop predictive modeling based on current site performance to determine future outcomes based on “what if” scenarios
  • Perform deep dives on Ecommerce performance to add business context to monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
  • Establish a monthly open-house for reporting questions & analysis recommendations
  • Identify and take initiative on new opportunities to ensure the analytics team is meeting the business needs of Digital & eCommerce (i.e. data enablement; dashboarding)
  • Present actionable data insights to business owners and executives
  • Analyze and report on user's digital customer journey through brooksrunning.com and other site properties, which include, but not limited to, clicks, page views, heat maps, time on site, bounce rates, attribution, etc
  • Build insights into actionable recommendations that ladder up to the larger strategy and vision for the business unit and company
