Requirements
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
  • 3-7 years experience as a Data Scientist (or relevant related experience)
  • Industry-level experience with SQL, Python, and the Python Data Science ecosystem (e.g. NumPy, SciPy, Jupyter, etc)
  • Proficient in a variety of machine learning methodologies (e.g. supervised learning, regularization, Principal Component Analysis, etc.), coupled with practical experience in applying these techniques to model complex problems
  • Solid understanding of deep learning architectures, framework and related libraries
  • Experience training deep learning models from scratch and deploying to production
  • Solid understanding of distributed computing, cloud platforms, and big data technologies
  • Proficiency in conducting A/B testing and a strong analytical skill set
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on collaboration, organizational ability
Responsibilities
  • Provide actionable insight into the performance of production models, bidding algorithms, and control systems through analysis and visualization
  • Contribute to the full AdTech modeling lifecycle, encompassing problem framing, dataset construction, defining objective functions and architectures, model training, and results visualization and analysis
  • Research new model architectures, including novel loss functions and hyperparameter configurations
  • Experiment with new labeling schemes to better structure the modeling methodology
  • Develop innovations and design experiments to assess their impact
  • Design and build feedback-based control systems that regulate how models bid in production
  • Understand and contribute to ML operational tools for dataset generation, model training, and monitoring while applying best engineering practices for maintaining code cleanliness and adhering to standards
  • Help scope, estimate, and prioritize projects and tasks
