Requirements
  • Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree combined with experience.
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of the Carrier organization, programs, or systems, with the ability to make enhancements and leverage them in daily work.
  • A university degree or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience is required, or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours based on support needs and participate in an on-call or support rotation as applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Provide production support for Boomi and CPI integrations and application programming interfaces.
  • Own Boomi platform operational activities, including Atom/Molecule upgrades, maintenance, access provisioning, and change-controlled patching aligned with SOX and security policies.
  • Troubleshoot integration failures, application programming interface issues, and data errors.
  • Analyze logs, payloads, and process execution details.
  • Monitor Boomi platform health and integration flows.
  • Handle incident tickets, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes.
  • Support application programming interface access, certificates, security configuration, and endpoints.
  • Coordinate with application teams, architects, and developers to resolve issues.
  • Support deployments and post-release validation.
  • Maintain support documentation and runbooks.
  • Support SOX compliance activities related to integrations and application programming interfaces.
  • Ensure adherence to access controls, change management, and segregation of duties.
  • Maintain and provide evidence for SOX audits, including logs, approvals, deployment records, and runbooks.
  • Participate in periodic access reviews, control validations, and audit walkthroughs.
  • Ensure production fixes follow approved change and release processes.
  • Coordinate the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of various enterprise resource planning business systems and databases.
  • Work cross-functionally to understand business requirements and propose digital solutions.
  • Coordinate, configure, develop, test, and deploy new and existing systems for optimal use.
  • Coordinate training on systems for relevant end users.
  • Coordinate sales force effectiveness digital initiatives across the organization.

Trane and Carrier see data centre orders surge as AI cooling demand outstrips supply

Trane and Carrier, two of the world's largest HVAC companies, are experiencing surging orders from data centres as AI infrastructure demands increase. As AI clusters generate more heat with newer chip generations, hyperscalers have turned to established HVAC leaders to meet their cooling needs. Trane's data centre business accounts for approximately 10% of its total revenue. Its backlog grew 70% year over year to $12.1 billion in Q2 2026, equivalent to 57% of its 2025 revenue. From 2021 to 2025, Trane's revenue and earnings per share grew at compound annual growth rates of 11% and 21%, respectively. Carrier's data centre sales represent about 5% of its 2025 revenue. The company expects this segment to grow 50% in 2026, reaching 7% to 9% of revenue. Its backlog increased 40% year over year to $8 billion in Q2 2026.

Wall Street sets ambitious targets for 3 stocks, but only 1 looks promising

Carrier acquires AI building automation firm 75F to scale cloud-native control software

Carrier Global has acquired 75F, a Minneapolis-based maker of cloud-native, AI-enabled building-automation systems. The climate-equipment company disclosed no financial terms for the deal, which closed on 23 July 2026. Carrier had previously invested in 75F through its venture arm, participating in the company's $45 million Series B round in February 2025 alongside Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Next47. Founded in 2012, 75F had raised roughly $80 million in venture funding. The acquisition gives Carrier ownership of 75F's cloud software and machine-learning layer that automates building systems. Carrier plans to integrate 75F's technology with its WebCTRL building controls, Abound predictive-analytics service, and Nlyte data-centre management software. Carrier specifically cited data centres as a key application, planning to incorporate 75F's AI capabilities into its QuantumLeap thermal-management suite.
