Job Summary
We are seeking a Calibration Technician to provide our manufacturing facility with maintaining, testing and repairing a variety of measuring and inspection equipment. The primary job is to make sure that instruments, gauges, and testing devices are calibrated correctly and give accurate readings.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule, plan, check, set up and calibrate measurement equipment in an in-house laboratory environment using jo-blocks and other standards
- Use calibration standard to calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair Measurement and Testing Equipment (M&TE) via approved procedures, process specification, and equipment drawings
- Identify, document and route non-confirming items in accordance with metrology lab processes
- Accurately enter and maintain calibration records in data base
- Quote, schedule, and track external calibration for devices and equipment that cannot be performed in-house
- Perform visual check of M&TE/process equipment for discrepancies and wear
- Prepare and maintain certifications of calibration during internal and external audits
- Set up and program the AIMS CMM machines in CMM Manager (Ex. PC-DMIS)
- Generate and manager dimensional reports

Education and Experience Requirements
- GED or high school diploma required
- 2 years in manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software required
- Must have experience with basic hand measuring tools (micrometers/calipers) and GT&D knowledge
Preferred Skills and Abilities
- 2-year degree or a technical certificate i other applicable field
- Proficient in Physical, Dimensional and/or Electronics calibration
- Strong organizational, analytical and decision making skills
- Strong communicator and team player
- Ability to work independently and high attention to detail.
