- Operate independently as a quality assurance partner with LATAM product lines and form partnerships with audit controllers and audit leads.
- Lead the quality assurance team in coordinating global quality assurance reviews and interacting during quality assurance reviews.
- Use briefing notes, newsletters, quality assurance updates, and methodology updates to produce effective communication tools.
- Provide training when needed, host regional quality assurance open-forum conference calls, and share best practices and common pitfalls with relevant teams.
- Assist the quality assurance director with reviewing and improving internal audit methodology practices.
- Draft and present methodology documents, guidance notes, and practice guides.
- Provide day-to-day support to auditors on guidelines for methodology practices.
- Develop and roll out targeted methodology training.
- Assist the quality assurance director with reviewing completed risk assessments, Quarterly Plan Refresh papers, and Quarterly Business Monitoring for LATAM.
- Conduct quality assurance thematic reviews, including review, analysis, assessment, and report drafting.
- Conduct hot reviews, audit report reviews, and site reviews, and support scorecard evaluations and reporting mechanisms.
- Perform reviews for audit committees, management committees, and stakeholders in LATAM.
- Consult on and review responses proposed by internal auditors in LATAM.
- Accomplish control-function and overall business objectives through a solid understanding of how internal audit integrates with management.
