Equal parts strategy and executional excellence, this role calls for someone who can manage multiple programs simultaneously while also ensuring that every single element ladders up to larger corporate narrative and objectives. Exceptional relationships within technology, business and healthcare media is ideal, and a natural understanding and love for metrics and data is a must. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this high-profile, high-opportunity position will have the chance to shape how the company tells its story and build-out the entire Communications function.
We are looking for a Director of Corporate Communications to help us tell the Qventus story; drive thought leadership and awards programs; and build and lead an integrated marketing communications program to drive growth. We need an excellent storyteller and writer with a passion for healthcare and technology. We need a creative thinker, experienced collaborator, and flawless executor who will bring their playbooks and energy to our growing team. We have an amazing story to tell, and need this leader to ensure we’re telling that narrative in a compelling way, across channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Qventus’ media outreach program, including drafting press releases and managing media inquiries
Stand up our executive communications program, including preparing our executives for speaking engagements, developing thought leadership narratives for key executives, etc.
Content. Own it. Write key messages, press releases, bylines, any and all materials required to support Communications and PR strategies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, as well as media outlets, industry analysts, and influencers
Measure and report on the effectiveness of communication programs and initiatives, and use data to inform future strategy
Work closely with cross-functional teams to support key business initiatives, such as product launches, corporate events, and partnerships
Serve as the keeper of corporate positioning and narrative and help drive functional alignment to ensure the company delivers on the brand promise.
Partner with and manage our PR agency to drive meaningful results.
Partner with our Customer Marketing leader to capture and tell compelling stories about the value we’re driving.
Incorporate and manage social media across all programs and strategies.
Stand up an internal communications program, including employee engagement, social media engagement, and our annual internal in-person event.
Measure and report on results, capture learnings and recommend actions as appropriate.
What We’re Looking For:
10+ years of experience in corporate communications and PR in a B2B SaaS environment
Demonstrated experience building integrated communications campaigns
Strong understanding of public affairs and levers that can be pulled in varying circumstances and across all media
Passion for and an understanding of the ever-evolving AI industry and/or healthcare
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and coach and mentor junior staff
