The Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This role supports the logistics operations by ensuring the timely and accurate movement of goods, maintaining shipment records, and liaising with internal teams and external partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment and have a passion for streamlining processes and solving problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments, including tracking, scheduling, and ensuring on-time delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of all shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse staff to resolve any shipping or delivery issues.
- Update and manage data in the company’s ERP system to reflect inventory movements and shipment statuses.
- Support the preparation of export and import documentation to ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, sales, and customer service) to align logistics activities with company goals.
- Assist in analyzing logistics processes and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Perform routine inventory counts and assist in reconciling inventory discrepancies.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field).
- 1-2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with international shipping and customs processes is a plus.
The salary range for this role is $22 to $28 per hour, and Pre-IPO equity. It is uncommon for anyone to be hired at or near the top range for their role, and final compensation is based on the facts and circumstances of the case. The compensation range is broad because it reflects many factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience, and training directly relevant to the role, business and company needs, cultural fit, level, and location.
