Responsibilities
  • Works with supervisors and managers to maintain a fair and positive work environment for associates; responds to associate concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Participates in associate relations investigations and advises supervisors and managers in disciplinary action processes.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures compliance among policies, procedures, and reporting.
  • Recruits, interviews, tests, and selects associates to fill vacant positions.
  • Plans and conducts new associate orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Keeps records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and associate statistics for government reporting.
  • Trains management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of associate relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Adminsisters performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Adminsisters hourly pay program to ensure compliance and equity within organization.
  • Answers questions and assists with administration of benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurance, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and associate assistance.
  • Prepares associate separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.

TPI Composites makes and supplies composite materials for wind energy and transportation. It produces independent wind blades with a global network of facilities in the US, Mexico, Turkey, and India, serving major wind turbine OEMs under long-term supply agreements, and also fabricates composite components for transportation, including parts for passenger and commercial electric vehicles. Its manufacturing uses a cost-efficient, scalable process to produce lightweight, durable blades and automotive parts that can meet high-volume production needs. The company differentiates itself by being an independent wind blade producer with a global footprint and long-term contracts, while applying its composite expertise to automotive parts to enable diversified, large-scale production, with a goal of providing reliable, scalable solutions for wind energy and transportation markets to support high-volume demand and diversified revenue streams.
