The Principal Product Manager, AI Data will support the organization in building data capabilities to support deep learning and generative AI in DataRobot. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and implementation of ingestion and transformation of business-critical data for AI models and applications. As part of this, you will also be responsible for programs that leverage these data capabilities across different departments within the company.
The Principal Product Manager, AI Data will work closely with stakeholders across all parts of the business including Engineering, Product, GTM, Partners, Marketing Operations, and Customer Success teams to execute growth projects and new products and features. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of breaking down complex problems into steps that enable customers to leverage their data and AI/ML to create business value. The ideal candidate will have experience with taking customers from big data/data analytics workloads to AI/ML production, including using that experience to iterate on data ingestion and transformation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead technical discussions and be a thought leader during product reviews
Integrate your technical knowledge, subject matter expertise and understanding trends to make sound decisions and influence business direction through data-driven analysis.
Responsible for designing and executing process and strategy frameworks that facilitate product-related goal setting, decision making and business impact. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
Articulate to stakeholders your team’s technology vision, requirements, goals and milestones.
Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
Own the execution of or applying data ingestion and/or transformation to machine learning (ML)/artificial intelligence workloads such as computer vision, NLP, speech/audio, or personalization.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Have introduced radical new products (0 to 1) to end customers in previous roles that have dramatically changed market dynamics.
Knowledge of Big Data and AI/ML landscape and can shape strategy and engage with stakeholders.
8 years experience in product management with technical products
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 8 years experience as a technical product manager or managing delivery of technical capabilities
Nice to have:
An active secret clearance (or higher)
Masters’ degree in Engineering or Data Science
MBA
Minimum 4 years of experience working with cloud services for Data and ML
