Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in software development or test automation.
  • Solid understanding of various testing types including unit, integration, end-to-end (E2E), regression, performance, API, and basic security testing.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, C#).
  • Experience with test automation frameworks like Playwright or equivalents.
  • Experience in creating test strategies and detailed test plans.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) and version control systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with AI coding assistants.
  • High degree of autonomy and resourcefulness.
  • Bonus: Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure testability and quality of code.
  • Conduct performance and load testing by simulating various user scenarios and stress conditions to identify performance bottlenecks.
  • Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute and evaluate these test cases to identify potential software issues.
  • Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to development teams.
  • Identify, document, track and report bugs and performance issues to the development team.
  • Promote a “Shift Left” approach within the team to help detect issues earlier in the software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the evolution of testing strategies and tools.
  • Other duties as assigned, related to quality assurance and software development.
