Procore is looking for an Executive Compensation Manager to join our Global Talent Organization. You’ll help evolve our executive compensation strategy, programs, policies, and processes. As the Executive Compensation Manager, you will play a pivotal part in the design, implementation, and management of our executive compensation programs for a public technology company. This role ensures that executive compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals and shareholder interests. The Executive Compensation Manager will work closely with senior leadership to develop compensation strategies that attract, motivate, and retain top executive talent. To be successful in this role, you’ll take a collaborative approach in identifying and addressing global executive compensation issues while evangelizing Procore’s compensation philosophy and strategy. This position reports to the Head of Global Compensation and can be based remotely in the US or our Carpinteria or Austin locations. We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
Develop materials and presentations for the Compensation Committee and Board meetings.
Communicate executive compensation philosophy and programs to internal and external stakeholders.
Conduct competitive benchmarking and market analysis to ensure executive compensation is aligned with industry standards.
Ensure alignment of executive compensation with company performance and strategic objectives.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal, and external consultants to ensure comprehensive and compliant compensation plans.
Prepare the executive compensation sections of the annual proxy statement.
Monitor trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in executive compensation.
Prepare detailed compensation analyses and present findings to senior leadership
Collaborate with Talent Business Partners, recruiters, managers, and business leaders on compensation matters in parts of the organization
What we’re looking for:
BA/BS is preferred or equivalent experience
7+ years of work experience in executive compensation or a related field.
A strong understanding of executive compensation best practices, current compensation trends, and market benchmark data
Experience in a public company, particularly in the technology sector, is highly preferred.
Understands equity-based compensation vehicles with regards to cultural fit, local practices, tax and accounting regulations.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a deep understanding of executive compensation practices and trends.
Experience communicating effectively across teams, including translating quantitative insights to non-quantitative audiences
The ability to communicate across diverse groups with a clear, approachable, and collaborative style
Strong influencing skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently when advising senior leaders
A deep commitment to excellent customer service, empathy, and discretion
