Requirements
  • Non-degreed candidates must have equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in the design and construction of automation machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Take machine and process ideas from conception to an easily visualized and workable system for presentation to our clients in a Solid Works format.
  • Confer with other engineers and personnel to develop processes, implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
  • Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
  • Design, evaluate, install, and operate mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
  • Utilize effective communication on projects. Ability to work closely with electrical engineers and technicians to assure proper functioning of complete system.
  • Select materials and components of construction for various conditions.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
  • Travel to customer facilities for design reviews, equipment reviews, and other task as required.
  • Complete other special projects and job tasks as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering or closely related field.
  • Familiar with Allen Bradley control systems, software, and Fanuc Robotics.
