Requirements
  • This position requires a Federal Work-Study Award.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Google Suite, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work with The New School’s branding and style guides to create a suite of coherent collateral across Student Success.
Responsibilities
  • Craft visual and written content for Office of Student Engagement digital and physical platforms to promote Recreation and Commuter Engagement initiatives, including events.
  • Assist in the marketing plan and promotion of Office of Student Engagement programs, including reviewing and maintaining websites and social media accounts such as Narwhal Nation, Instagram, Twitter, and WhatsApp.
  • Create, organize, and coordinate reusable assets for specific events, programs, and series organized by Office of Student Engagement and Recreation & Commuter Engagement, including templates, guidelines, standards, and logos.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with students and staff on short-term and long-term projects requiring graphic design.
  • Maintain a confidential work environment.
  • Design, market, and promote department initiatives and programs.
