Requirements
  • Applicants should be board-eligible or board-certified Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians, or have completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency by the start of the fellowship.
  • Applicants must be eligible for a Kansas medical license.
  • Applicants must submit a resume or curriculum vitae.
  • Applicants must submit a cover letter.
Responsibilities
  • Provide ambulatory and inpatient care.
  • Attend and present at student, resident, and fellowship teaching conferences.
  • Complete four-week rotations in clinical care, research, and electives to support fellowship learning.
  • Participate in the Academic Excellence Development Program through faculty affairs.
  • Learn core educational techniques and work with departmental educational specialists to provide didactic, case-based learning, and simulation to Obstetrics and Gynecology residents and medical students.
  • Develop competence in operative delivery, complicated vaginal repair including third- and fourth-degree lacerations, and technically difficult surgical procedures.
  • Serve as the practicing attending and direct and train residents and medical students.
  • Provide in-house night and weekend labor and delivery coverage.
