What You Will Do:
The Product Marketing team’s mission is to deliver the right product to the right audience using the right messaging. We’re looking for a creative, analytical, and collaborative leader to help our customers get the most out of their SecurityScorecard experience by increasing product affinity and engagement.
As the Sr. Manager, Competitive Intelligence for SecurityScorecard, you’ll be responsible for owning our competitive program and strategy across the company, integral to our success
SecurityScorecard is growing rapidly, with an inviting culture that cultivates talent in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who is innovative, data-driven, and can translate competitive intelligence into actionable insights for sales and product teams.
Responsibilities Include:
- Design and develop best-in-class competitive intelligence framework to facilitate the real-time delivery of information for Sales, Marketing, and Product teams
- Manage, integrate, and evolve our competitive intelligence tech stack to capture data and enable the self service delivery of information, where possible
- Be the subject matter expert for competitive information within the company
- Provide timely sales tools, training, and consultative engagement to serve the needs of the sales team with defensible analysis/proof points, in close partnership with our Sales Enablement team
- Work with marketing and sales leaders to design and develop take-out campaigns and sales plays to accelerate our position and take advantage of changing market conditions
- Scale and advance a win/loss analysis program by conducting interviews with sales, prospects and employees regularly, delivering insights across the company
- Support and lead when necessary Product Marketing and Product Management efforts in the collection of specific data to inform messaging, product development, workflow, and design
- Work in close collaboration with Product Management to take its ownership of competitive intelligence gathering and analysis.
- Define and report on competitive metrics to key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Competitive Intelligence ,or 7+ years of Product Marketing experience, in the B2B SaaS space
- Experience in cybersecurity and an understanding of the security industry, ecosystem, and buyers
- Confident and clear verbal and written communicator who is able to break down complex concepts into simple terms; comfortable creating and delivering information in a variety of formats (presentations, collateral, reports, tools, etc)
- Comfortable with technology, both in the configuration of tools to extract the most out of investments, and in evaluation of SaaS based products understand and validate findings.
- Track record with a modern marketing mix and a proven ability to create successful programs; Highly cross-functional, with the ability to partner with different teams across the company, especially with Sales
- Self-starter with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
- Stand out verbal and written communication skills, able to establish trust quickly and present to large groups
- Previous start-up experience is a huge plus
