Requirements
  • * A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • * Significant people management experience
  • * Fitness certifications, experience instructing fitness classes, and a high level of comfort level with filling in for a variety of classes last-minute
  • * Ability to work on-site daily and provide periodic weekend/morning/evening coverage
  • * Ability to travel occasionally throughout Suffolk County
  • * Willingness to travel 1-2 times per year if needed
Responsibilities
  • * Work on-site, overseeing efficient and effective daily operations
  • * Manage a high-demand calendar of 10+ in-person events per day and at least one large-scale special event per quarter
  • * Supervise a high-performing team of staff and act as point-of-contact for volunteers and contractors
  • * Evaluate instructor performance to uphold program quality
  • * Supervise facilities maintenance and cleaning
  • * Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships across the city
  • * Design, implement, and refine systems to enhance budget planning and financial efficiency
Desired Qualifications
  • *Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • * Experience working with recovery groups
  • * Lived experience as a peer in recovery
  • * Desire to apply anti-racism and anti-oppression principles and practices
