Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED, journeyman or master electrician license, construction management degree, or equivalent field experience is required.
  • At least 15 years of field experience is required, including at least 10 years of successful experience as a project superintendent.
  • Proven experience leading a team of superintendents and electrical and/or mechanical self-perform labor for an engineering, procurement, and construction company with overall project responsibility is required.
  • Proficiency with a personal computer and Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Word, is required.
  • Travel of up to 75% is required.
  • The position requires availability between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with schedules that may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background and drug test.
Responsibilities
  • Champion a zero-incident safety culture and apply Faith Technologies safety policies across all job sites.
  • Lead construction operations and a team of superintendents, field engineers, assistant superintendents, construction managers, quality control managers, and foremen.
  • Ensure seamless integration of design, manufacturing, and field execution by bridging operations, Excellerate, virtual design and construction, and preconstruction teams to optimize constructability, manufacturability, and scheduling outcomes.
  • Maintain alignment with project management on project goals, challenges, finances, and quality.
  • Assist project teams in coordinating visits, inspections, punch lists, and job hazard analyses with customer field representatives.
  • Ensure field execution aligns with project schedules, production goals, budgets, and contractual obligations.
  • Establish, support, and enforce standardized construction methods, field procedures, best practices, and continuous-improvement efforts across projects.
  • Reinforce project compliance with federal, state, and local building codes.
  • Manage field personnel, including staffing, performance, safety, and site-level issues.
  • Assist with construction estimates.
  • Assist with coordination and deployment of large field projects, including change orders, material management and orders, and manpower scheduling, while identifying and coordinating risk-management activities.
  • Assist the Workforce Manager, Group Leader, and Project Managers with oversight of field personnel and subcontractors.
  • Assist with resource planning and scheduling across multiple projects, including coordinating crew and individual movements between sites.
  • Meet weekly with Project Managers to review job tracking and responsibilities, including hours, materials, and manpower.
  • Coordinate daily manpower needs with the Project Coordinator and Workforce Manager.
  • Assist site-specific leadership with issue resolution.
  • Monitor productivity and implement solutions to improve identified productivity issues.
  • Attend meetings as needed to provide feedback and updates to project management, customers, and other stakeholders.
  • Delegate to field leadership with control systems that ensure accountability and prevent decision-making bottlenecks.
  • Manage boundaries and workflow between the unit and other business areas, convey functional and business strategies, and foster cross-functional collaboration.
  • Review daily superintendent and foreman reports for information quality, scheduled progress, and completeness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
