Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, or 5+ years of relevant product management experience in Consumer or Healthcare-related industries in lieu of a degree.
  • At least 2 years of product management and category-building experience in Consumer or Healthcare-related industries is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in regulated environments is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting periodic product training sessions is required.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • The candidate must be able to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • The candidate must be able to travel within the United States and internationally.
  • Experience working in a multinational brand company is required.
  • A proven track record in project management, including managing contributions from remote teams, is required.

Responsibilities
  • Implement the strategic plan and guide product direction throughout the product lifecycle for the assigned United States product portfolio.
  • Define and implement a 12–18-month product strategy to provide long-term profitable revenue growth.
  • Define and set up new products that meet the needs of target customers, laboratories, and channel partners in a timely and profitable manner.
  • Manage current-year operational plans and partner with other functions to achieve desired results.
  • Own the go-to-market strategy and implementation for designated products.
  • Gather and analyze market information and identify market opportunities.
  • Introduce new products and forecast associated revenue.
  • Oversee day-to-day product management activities and define measures for product development initiation, product launch support, and go-to-market activities.
  • Monitor sales and turnover development for assigned product segments.
  • Manage the product discontinuation roadmap.
  • Develop positioning and messaging.
  • Assess business and category needs and recommend solutions.
  • Oversee pricing strategy based on market demand and the competitive environment.
  • Interface with the global product team.
  • Oversee and contribute to technical business-to-business and business-to-consumer collateral and materials.
  • Develop financial business cases for new products and obtain corporate approvals.
  • Provide project leadership for cross-functional initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the annual product promotional calendar with Marketing, Sales, and Information Technology teams.
  • Complete required documentation and obtain approvals from the direct manager and required leadership team members, including Program Data Sheets, Creative Briefs, messaging documents, sell-in and training presentations, and customer-facing materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to generate campaign ideas.
  • Create clear PowerPoint presentations and business cases.
  • Generate copy and content for collateral and campaigns.
  • Support the Sales organization in preparing program and promotional training materials, including format, content, and delivery.
  • Develop promotional collateral for targeted prospects using appropriate online and offline channels.
  • Maintain working relationships with field sales representatives and key stakeholders.
  • Apply an interest in science and technology to understand how products are made and which features distinguish them.
  • Conduct and report post-promotion analysis, including return-on-investment metrics.
  • Deliver presentations to medium and large audiences.
  • Follow safety standards and report safety concerns to leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience as a Product Manager in Consumer or Healthcare-related industries is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of go-to-market marketing experience in Consumer or Healthcare-related industries is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of optical industry experience is preferred.
