Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Coaching and/or playing experience.
- Ability to work significant evening, night, and weekend hours with travel.
- Ability to drive university vehicles for recruiting purposes with a Louisiana driver's license.
- The position is subject to drug/alcohol testing in accordance with LSUE Policy Statement 41.
- A satisfactory pre-employment background check is required as a condition of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate training, discipline, and coaching for student-athletes to support a highly competitive women's soccer program.
- Mentor student-athletes in their academic, physical, and social development.
- Monitor student-athletes' academic performance to ensure timely progress toward degree completion and graduation.
- Assist the Head Coach with organizing practices, recruitment, and team travel.
- Work with the University and local community to promote and publicize the team and LSUE Athletics.
- Attend Athletic Department and University staff meetings and special events.
- Maintain the soccer facility.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the Director of Athletics and Head Women's Soccer Coach.
