Vascular Sonographer

HSHS is seeking a Vascular Sonographer. Ideal candidates are patient focused mission driven individuals comfortable working independently with all age groups using a variety of imaging equipment and systems. New grads welcomed to apply.

Education Qualifications

• Graduate of or currently enrolled in an allied health program is required.
• Associates degree in allied health, applied science or completion of certificate/training program is preferred.

Experience Qualifications

• Experience in ultrasound/sonography preferred.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from the American Registry of Diagnostic Sonographers (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) is required.
• OR must be eligible to sit for the RVT or RVS exam AND must obtain registry within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
