Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or higher with an emphasis in Organizational Development, Business, Psychology, Education, or Communication, or 7+ years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 5-7+ years of experience working in a professional Organizational Development environment or a combination of directly related experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience coaching senior leaders.
  • Experience working within a company with more than 3,000 employees and multi-state operations.
  • Ability to develop strategies and communicate effectively and present information verbally and in writing to executive-level management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and drive improvement in training and development.
  • Ability to interpret written, verbal, or diagrammatic instructions.
  • Ability to develop trusted partnerships with key leadership.
  • Ability to use a systematic approach in carrying out assignments.
  • Ability to make timely and accurate decisions based on available information that may be vague or limited.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment without compromising quality.
  • Familiarity with various educational models.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies.
  • Ability to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable state, federal, and other regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
  • Support the development of regional and support department leadership through coaching workshops, strategic planning, monthly meetings, and presentations.
  • Transfer knowledge and leadership skills that enable leaders to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, assume responsibility, and consistently improve and drive growth within their region or department while supporting the PDS platform standards.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on PDS culture, platform, and Leadership Model, and coach leaders in applying these concepts to increase effectiveness and drive results.
  • Support and empower newly promoted leaders as they adapt to new roles and responsibilities, while supporting tenured leaders in driving performance.
  • Collaborate with Regional Partners, Regional Talent Development support, and other regional leaders to define and communicate regional leadership objectives and develop tailored strategies.
  • Help create and execute the strategy for PDS University.
  • Host or schedule nationally led and support Monthly Manager Development Meetings.
  • Support Regional Partners and Regional Managers in optimizing manager effectiveness and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support development plans for dentists and other team leaders who could benefit from specialized training.
  • Implement, facilitate, and maintain approved training in coordination with the PDS Learning and Training department, following standards and ensuring consistency across training programs.
  • Provide documentation, support guideline adherence, and recordkeeping for the Learning and Training department to sustain continuing education accreditations for the Academy of General Dentistry and Program Approval for Continuing Education.
  • Analyze and measure the impact of training methodologies and processes and participate in continual improvement efforts aligned with PDS and its supported practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
