Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing operations in fast-paced environments (healthcare technology experience preferred)
  • Experience managing teams of 4+ people and a strong interest in people management
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with experience addressing complex customer or client escalations
  • Proficiency in using data and no-code/low-code tools to build and run complex processes
  • Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, and a drive to complete tasks fully and accurately
  • Grit and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" in order to achieve desired outcomes

Responsibilities
  • Manage the claims processing function, a central and high-visibility role within Garner
  • Oversee performance against key metrics, including SLA and quality indicators
  • Directly supervise and develop a team of skilled claims associates, implementing tools, training, and management protocols to enhance the team's accuracy and efficiency
  • Use no-code and low-code tools to create, execute, and scale operational processes (e.g., using Google Sheets, Zendesk automations, and SQL queries)
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex inquiries from members and internal stakeholders, providing expert resolution and guidance
  • Partner closely with the Director of Claims and other internal stakeholders on special projects and to further claims-related programs and products
