- Ability to maintain a constant state of alertness and work safely.

- Ability to hear body sounds, alarms, and malfunctioning machinery frequently.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 0-25 pounds frequently and 25-50 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to reach, grip, use a keyboard, and perform data entry frequently.
- Ability to use near and distance vision and distinguish colors.
- Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, kneel, sit, squat, and perform repetitive foot, leg, hand, and arm movements occasionally.
- Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships using vision occasionally.
- Ability to lift or move patients occasionally.
- Ability to use smell to detect or recognize odors occasionally.
- Ability to drive occasionally.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect responses to medication and report reactions.
- Restock medication inventories.
- Provide direct patient care as needed.
- Ensure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
