Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering
  • 1-5 years of experience in building design and construction
  • 1-5 years of experience in industrial buildings and building related systems
  • 1-5 years of experience in project management of industrial construction projects
  • Intermediate level experience in AutoCAD (basic use)
  • Intermediate level experience of computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook)
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Ability to work overtime up to 25% when needed
Responsibilities
  • Technical support to North American Manufacturing plants in the areas of building design and construction, including development and maintaining of building related standards
  • Development of criteria (mechanical, electrical, fire protection, civil/structural, etc.) for design of buildings
  • Subject Matter Expert for industrial buildings and building related systems as technical support for local facility groups at each site, as well as for submittals during project management
  • Experience in plant planning project management, construction, and building design to ensure projects are designed and built to quality, cost, schedule and safety KPIs
  • Customer Satisfaction with proper communication and consensus with customer to support their needs
Desired Qualifications
  • Professional Engineering License
  • Experience in industrial mechanical systems (piping, chilled water, compressed air, etc.)
  • Experience in industrial power systems (switchgear, power distribution systems, 480VAC and higher)
  • Experience in industrial structural steel systems
  • Experience in large scale civil installations
