Pay and Schedule

• $20 to $24 per hour guaranteed against commissions
• Commission pay

• Full Time employees 40 hour schedule
• Modified Full Time employees 32-36 hour schedule
• Part Time Employees up to 28 hours a week schedule

Responsibilities

Each Flooring Sales Specialist receives unrivaled training, including:

• Product knowledge of our vast, quality-manufactured assortment of hard and soft flooring surfaces
• The technology that drives HOM Furniture
• Our unique customer focused sales solution approach
• Processing sales quotes, measuring jobs and final orders
• Comprehensive follow up on product deliveries and/or installations
• Introduction to ordering customized flooring

Sales Specialists participate in maintaining price cards plus light duty vacuuming and dusting in their assigned areas.

Requirements

Education and experience: 

• Must be working towards or have a high school diploma or GED, 2 year or 4 year college degree preferred
• One to three years related experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years exceptional customer service experience required
• Big ticket top writer commission sales experience preferred, such as; flooring, home furnishings, automotive, recreational vehicles, appliances, etc.

Physical Demands: Moderate physical demands required. Flooring Sales Specialists are required to stand for prolonged periods of time and will occasionally have to lift up to 25 pounds.

Other: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
