Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, or equivalent work experience
- 4-5 years of experience as a production manager/supervisor/creative executive at a production company, studio, network and/or streamer
- Ability to successfully oversee creative affairs and development across a high-volume of projects
- Proficiency at budgeting and production methodology
- Deep understanding of how to conform content to meet audience demands
- Experience and ability to successfully oversee a high-volume of projects throughout all stages of production
- Encyclopedic knowledge and passion for movies and television shows
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- A proactive and collaborative team player who can work both independently and cross-functionally
- The ability to work in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on speed as well as quality control
Responsibilities
- Oversee all non-creative elements of prep/pre-production including but not limited to production budgets, schedules, locations, tax and other incentives and third party vendors
- Manage the creative affairs process throughout the production lifecycle including but not limited to:
- Development - review creative submissions/coverages notes on concepts, pitches, IP materials, treatments and scripts
- Cast - advise on casting options, auditions, selections, talent restrictions, etc
- Crew - advise on above-the-line creatives including director, writer, producer and DP
- Advise on key elements and creative choices such as location, wardrobe, etc
- As required, represent Tubi on set at various production locations to ensure creative consistency and talent relations as needed
- Review dailies and provide feedback to producers on an ongoing basis
- Review all cuts, provide feedback and aggregate notes from the Content team
- Provide feedback on key above-the-line hires including director and DP
- Manage day-to-day relationship and communication with Tubi's production partners as it relates to creative elements
- Supervise all aspects of physical production with an emphasis on quality control and financial impact
- As required, represent Tubi on set at various production locations
- Ensure Tubi productions are adhering to their approved schedules and budgets
- Ensure productions are complying with all obligations including but not limited to access/distribution of dailies, health and safety ordinances, union and guild requirements, etc
- Manage all elements of post-production through full asset delivery including but not limited to QC, VFX, music, ADR, credits, etc
