We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual with a background in the Employee Benefits industry, to join our high-performing team in Glasgow. Whilst previous experience would be ideal, we would also be willing to consider applications from candidates from a Financial Services Administration background looking to develop their career.
This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Health and Benefits Consultant, you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of risk and healthcare clients.
Focused on ensuring the client feels supported at all times, providing advice and recommendations at renewal in line with the client’s requirements you also be expected to follow up on warm leads to promote the wider MMB proposition to maximise opportunities and achieve growth targets.
This is a client-focused telephone based and account management role.
We will count on you to:
- Manage and develop an existing health and risk client portfolio
- Secure new clients from warm leads in order to generate profitable income.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client to establish effective relationships.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure clients receive an excellent service throughout.
What you need to have:
- Excellent communication skills, especially verbal/oral as this is a telephone-based role
- Experience identifying business needs and aligning our products to provide strategic solutions for clients
- Attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Self-driven and motivated
- A desire to provide exceptional customer service
What makes you stand out:
- Previous experience with group risk or healthcare or employee benefits products
- Proven experience in a related employee benefits consulting or administrative role with an employee benefit practice
- IF7 / GR1 qualified with experience in Healthcare/Risk insurance
- Previous account management/development experience
- Previous experience in following up sales leads successfully
