Requirements
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the hardware operations domain is required.
  • At least 7 years of experience implementing or supporting Agile Product Lifecycle Management is required.
  • Broad understanding of Oracle E-Business supply chain modules, including Product Information Management, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Bills of Material, is required.
  • Ability to operate and communicate effectively with people at all levels of the business is required.
  • Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to work independently with a motivated and proactive attitude, along with a passion for learning and creative problem solving, is required.
Responsibilities
  • Administer an Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management instance for past, present, and future hardware systems.
  • Create and administer internal part numbers, coordinating with engineers and program managers through bugs and tickets to structure engineering and production Bills of Material.
  • Manage all tickets and Engineering Change Orders for parts and Bills of Material.
  • Support the creation, processing, and implementation of Bills of Material, Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders, deviations, and other Configuration Management activities using Oracle Agile software.
  • Remain current with internal processes and standards for Product Lifecycle Management management.
  • Address tickets in a timely manner from Engineering, the New Product Introduction team, and manufacturers' Product Lifecycle Management staff.
  • Conduct high-level Bills of Material reviews to procure necessary documentation, including revisions of the ordered part number, all subassemblies, and associated documentation.
  • Report on template Bills of Material and initial Bills of Material for new products and subsystems within the Service-Level Agreement.
  • Report on Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders, and deviations conducted within 48 business hours, as well as backlog outside the Service-Level Agreement.
  • Confer with change originators and others to resolve discrepancies and rejections and complete change packages, including Engineering Change Requests, Engineering Change Notices, markups, effectiveness, and disposition.
  • Manage revision compatibility, commodity-based part-number formats, and Windchill Product Lifecycle Management change-order workflows.
  • Coordinate change orders through the review, approval, and data-transfer process.
  • Facilitate timely review, correction, and approval.
  • Monitor and escalate past-due approval tasks.
  • Ensure accurate transfer of Engineering Change Request, Engineering Change Notice, controlled part-number, and Bills of Material data from Agile Product Lifecycle Management to the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Communicate with Engineering, other cross-functional departments, and relevant third parties, including makers of off-the-shelf products.
  • Use Oracle Agile Product Lifecycle Management, spreadsheets, the internal ticket system, and the bug tracker.
